The World Grand Prix is underway! SPORT1 shows the darts highlight games live on free TV – the quarter-finals are on the program on the fifth day.
Darts highlight on SPORT1 : The World Grand Prix continues on Friday! The major tournament will take place from October 6th to 12th in the Mattioli Arena in Leicester – and SPORT1 will show the games live on free TV and in the free live stream from 8 p.m.
The four quarter-final games are on the program on Friday evening. Among those required are world champion Luke Littler, world number one Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price.

Danny Noppert and Gary Anderson kick things off. “The Flying Scotsman” comfortably beat Joe Cullen 3-0 on Wednesday and continues to chase his first title at the World Grand Prix.
The highlight of the evening, however, is the duel between Littler and Price. While the 18-year-old swept last year’s winner Mike De Decker off the stage 3-0 and then expressed disappointment with the Belgian’s performance, Littler’s feared opponent Price also confidently won his match against Josh Rock 3-0.
The quarterfinals will be played in “Best of 5 sets” mode. “Best of 9 sets” applies in the semi-finals, before up to eleven sets can be played in the final.
The special feature of the World Grand Prix is that, according to the “Double-In/Double-Out” mode, players must not only end each leg with a double, but also start with a double. The scores only count after a double at the beginning.
