
The successor to Adi Hütter has been confirmed: A former Hannover player will become the new coach of AS Monaco.
Former Bundesliga professional Sébastien Pocognoli will succeed the dismissed Adi Hütter as coach of AS Monaco.
The former European Cup finalist announced this on Saturday evening. The 38-year-old Belgian Pocognoli previously coached Union Saint-Gilloise in his home country, where he had a contract until the end of the season.

Pocognoli, who played 30 league matches for Hannover 96 from January 2013 to summer 2014, has been coaching Saint-Gilloise since 2024 as successor to Alexander Blessin (now FC St. Pauli) and led the club to its first championship title in club history and into the Champions League.
The former Bundesliga coach Hütter was relieved of his duties on Friday. Who will succeed Pocognoli at the Belgian capital club has not yet been determined.
