Kingsley Coman scores a remarkable overhead kick for Al Nassr. One of the most beautiful goals in the ex-Bayern star's career leaves even Cristiano Ronaldo amazed.

In a legal dispute over salary payments during the Corona pandemic, Cristiano Ronaldo wins against his former club.

Cristiano Ronaldo has won a legal dispute with his former club Juventus Turin. The Turin Labor Court rejected Juventus’ appeal against the verdict of April 17, 2024, in the dispute over salaries for the 2020/21 season. The Portuguese therefore does not have to pay back the 9.7 million euros demanded by Juve.

The judge declared all objections made by the record champion unfounded. The proceedings concerned salary payments that had been postponed during the Corona pandemic in the 2020/21 season. Ronaldo was under contract with Juventus from 2018 to 2021.

Many professional footballers waived their salaries or parts of them during the pandemic. The Turin club had argued that Ronaldo had voluntarily waived almost ten million euros. However, the court did not follow this representation. Juventus must now also bear the costs of the appeal proceedings amounting to around 50,000 euros. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the club is still checking whether further legal steps are possible.
