PSG player and former Bayern professional Lucas Hernández faces serious allegations.
Serious allegations against French international Lucas Hernández: The French judiciary is investigating the former Bavaria professional on suspicion of human trafficking and undeclared work.
The background is a complaint filed by a Colombian family against the professional from Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain.

Lucas Hernández has come under the scrutiny of French justice
“Father, mother and their three children worked for a year without any rights in this family,” the family’s lawyer, Lola Dubois, told news agency AFP . Her clients allegedly worked “between 70 and 80 hours a week” for a cash salary of about 2000 euros, “without paid leave, without any documents proving their employment rights.” Dubois spoke of “a form of modern slavery.”
Hernández Issues Statement
Hernández, a 2018 world champion, and his wife Victoria Triay, for their part, told AFP that they had been “manipulated” and had “never acted with bad intentions or violated the law.”
The 29-year-old and his wife, who further spoke of a “breach of trust,” asserted that they had helped the family members, supported them, and believed them when they assured them they were in the process of legalizing their situation.
The investigations, initiated after a complaint filed in mid-January and published by the magazine Paris Match, have been entrusted to the investigation brigade of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Paris Saint-Germain initially did not comment on the case.
Bayern Munich signed Hernández, who can play as a center-back and left-back, in 2019 for the then-Bundesliga record transfer fee of 80 million euros from Atlético Madrid.
With FC Bayern, he won numerous titles, including the Champions League in 2020. In 2023, the 40-time international returned to France to PSG one year before the end of his contract. Hernández has multiple prior convictions for domestic violence.
