“The issue didn’t really surprise me,” commented BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl on Sky . Dortmund had already expressed its regret on January 26, as the Bundesliga club would have liked to keep Anselmino, who bid farewell in tears. However, Chelsea activated an option in the 20-year-old’s loan contract at what was probably the last possible moment.
