In an all-Dutch final, the world number four prevailed against Gian van Veen with a 6:4 victory in legs, securing five points for the table and 10,000 pounds in prize money.

The 36-year-old used his fifth match dart for the win – his first in the Premier League since April 2024. Overall, he scored 97.81 points in the three-dart average and converted 37.5 percent of his double attempts. Van Veen averaged 90.57 points and had a checkout rate of 28.57 percent.

Darts: MvG Shows Good Reaction to Major Setback

On his way to the title, MvG defeated Luke Humphries and Stephen Bunting both with a 6:2 score. After a weak performance at the first major of the year, the World Masters, van Gerwen showed that he is still a force to be reckoned with.
