As a result, there was a wave of sympathy. Barcelona expressed his “deepest sympathy” and announced that the family “in this difficult time” was helped. The archrival Real Madrid conducted: “May he rest in peace.”

Opposite Osasuna also spoke “his deepest condolences”. Club President Luis Sabalza reacted with understanding and explained that his team had no objection to the cancellation: “We understand that life is the most important thing and that you cannot play a game if you think that the person with whom you have lived for so long is no longer there.”
