Joshua Zirkzee, like his club Manchester United, is in crisis and has been waiting for a goal in the Premier League since the beginning of December. This dry spell now also has consequences for the upcoming international matches: the 23 -year -old is not nominated for the Dutch national team – and also conceded a clear announcement by national coach Ronald Koeman.
“He was not in the pre -selection because I think that he is not good enough at the moment,” Koeman told Studio Voetbal and added: “Fitness and shape should be crucial for a player. Of course, this is not always possible. But ultimately you have to earn the selection through shape, fitness and playing many games. I don’t think that is now the case. “

Significant: Zirkzee could not convince Koeman, although he even had to complain about some failures on the offensive – a particularly hard message.
