Because the second training session also has to fail, the race cannot be held on Thursday.
The departure of the alpine ski racers in La Thuile, Italy, has been canceled for Thursday. The World Association FIS announced this on Wednesday. Because the second training session due to Nebels could not take place, the racing jury had no other choice. Reason: At least one training run must be driven before a downhill race.
Instead, a Super-G will take place in the Italian Alps on Thursday and Friday (both 11 a.m./ZDF and Eurosport). In addition, Saturday is planned as a reserve day, the weather should make further shifts necessary.
