Who meets Littler?
In the first legs, Clayton – who had thrown out the number one number one Martin Schindler in the round of 16 – not only kept well, he even took the lead with 4: 3 in the meantime.
But then Littler put on the reins, checked 124 over Bull to equalize. He only treated his opponent to a leg win before loosening the final ticket.
As Littler revealed after the game, he was also motivated by the defeat of his favorite club Manchester United in the FA Cup: “During the second break I saw the United bankruptcy and it spurred me a bit and I won the next five.”
The final takes place from 10.30 p.m., Sport1 shows the game live on free TV. Littler will meet James Wade, who prevailed 11-2 against Josh Rock.
