NBA: Schröders Piston’s victories on – also Cavaliers successful

Dennis Schröder celebrates the next success with the pistons, the leader Cleveland is now expanding his winning streak.

Basketball world champion Dennis Schröder has won the next victory with the Detroit Pistons in the NBA. The franchise from the Motorcity won against the Washington Wizards with 123: 103 and thus consolidated sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

The captain of the German national team came to eleven points, four assists and a rebound in 23 minutes. The best thrower of his team in a competitive encounter was Cade Cunningham with 27 points. Detroit is 37:29 behind – and thus only in the playoff race just behind the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers (both 36:28).

Cavaliers continue winning streak

League leader Cleveland Cavaliers continued his winning streak. The 109: 104 against Schröder’s ex-team Brooklyn Nets was the 15th success one after the other and meant the setting of the franchise record. In the absence of superstar Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland towered with 30 points, the Cavs caught up with an 18-point deficit in the third quarter.

“I’m fed up with comebacks,” Garland joked. At the end of the third quarter, Craig Porter Jr. sank a Buzzer-Theater from the center line, in the last section Garland shone with 18 points. “We didn’t throw it so well, so our defense was good,” said the match winner: “This team is a really good unit – we stick together, in good times.”
