The DEG has reported 14 runners for the season highlight – there is nothing to get on the first evening.
The German speed skiers experienced a disappointing first World Cup evening in Hamar in Norweg. Fridtjof Petzold, Patrick Beckert and Felix Maly missed the top ten over 5000 m, Josie Hofmann and Maira Jasch over 3000 m of women. The athletes of the German ice skate and shorttrack community (DEG) had no chance in the team sprints.
The World Cup on the train in the Viking ship, as the Norwegians christened their ice skate arena in Hamar, runs until Sunday. 14 runners – eight women and six men – reported the DEG for the season highlight.
