Franz Wagner dominates the Magic in the duo. However, the headlines determine another.
The duo Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero led the Orlando Magic to the 31st win of the season in the NBA. The German basketball world champion came to 27 points at the 113: 93 at the New Orleans Pelicans, US young star Banchero even topped Wagner and was the man of the evening with 34 points and 11 rebounds. As a eighth of the Eastern Conference, the Magic is clearly depicting the move into the Play-in tournament.
Despite the success, the play-offs are far away. The Detroit Pistons with Dennis Schröder (38 victories) take the last place for direct moving into the final round in the east. On Thursday, the Pistons lost the Washington Wizards 125: 129, Schröder came from the bank to eleven points. As the sixth, Detroit’s lead over the pursuers in the fight for the final round is still great.
Stephen Curry met the 4000th three of his career
Superstar Stephen Curry made the headlines of the day with another milestone. In the 130: 104 of the Golden State Warriors against the Sacramento Kings, Curry scored his 4000th threesome. The 37-year-old has long been a record holder, in 2018 he overtook Ray Allen (2973), currently James Harden (3127) is his first pursuer. Only recently had Curry cracked the 25,000 career points brand, now the next milestone followed.
Doncic-Gala is not enough for Laers
The Los Angeles Lakers was not enough for 45 points from her exceptional player Luka Doncic. Without the injured LeBron James, the Lakers were sent to the Milwaukee Bucks 106: 126.
Bucks superstar Giannis Antetocounmpo came to 24 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists. The Lakers as fourth in the west and the Bucks as fourth in the east are clearly on play-off course.
