Before the season finale in the Biathlon World Cup in Oslo, the Wachstruck of the DSV catches fire. The repairs last a whole night.
Small shock moment before the World Cup season finale in biathlon: As the DSV announced on Tuesday evening, the waking line caught fire on the way to the Norwegian capital Oslo.
“On the highway last night, the rear axle of our waking truck caught fire. Thanks to the quick reaction of our drivers, the fire could be deleted,” wrote the DSV on Instagram.
In Oslo, the World Cup final in the biathlon is increasing at the weekend. After hours of repairs, the truck was able to continue its journey.
“Workshops closed, emergency plans forged – but with great support for a workshop that screwed through all night, the truck was able to continue the trip today,” said the team.
“A huge thank you” sent the DSV “to all helpers from the ‘Mantruckandbus’ team in Peißen (Landsberg), who made a night shift for us and made our onward journey possible! Without you, we would be faced with a real challenge. Now it is time to go to Oslo – ready for a decisive week!”
