Lara Gut-Behrami pushes into an exclusive circle

Lara Gut-Behrami wins the last giant slalom of winter and joins her 100th podium in a very exclusive circle.

Skir racer Federica Brignone has won her third crystal ball-Lara Gut-Behrami reached a rare milestone.

The Swiss won the last giant slalom of winter at the World Cup final in Sun Valley/USA in front of Brignone, who won the giant slalom overall ranking with her second place. For Gut-Behrami it was the 48th World Cup victory of her career and her 100th podium-with which she is in an exclusive circle.

In a row with five legends

In addition to Gut-Behrami, only five ski runners broke the magical brand: Mikaela Shiffrin (156 Top) and Lindsey Vonn (138), the Austrian legends Annemarie Moser-Pröll (114) and Renate Götschl (110) and Gut-Behramis Vreni Schneider (101).

Third was Sara Hector (Sweden/+0.80). Slalom specialist Lena Dürr, eleventh after the first run, took the 17th place after a serious mistake with 12.14 seconds behind. Emma Aicher resigned in the second round. Superstar Mikaela Shiffrin was not at the start.
