The former Leipziger has to expose again, coach Hansi Flick breaks out his displeasure.

Coach Hansi Flick from FC Barcelona has to do without offensive players Dani Olmo in the Champions League quarter-finals against Borussia Dortmund. As the Spanish top club announced on Friday, the former Leipziger fails for about three weeks.

“The investigations carried out this morning have confirmed that Olmo has suffered an adductor injury in the right area,” it said.

The 26-year-old will probably miss at least six games, including the duels with BVB (April 9 and 15) and the semi-finals in the Spanish trophy against Atletico Madrid next Wednesday (9:30 p.m.). In the catch -up game against CA Osasuna (3-0), Olmo had hit 2-0 (21st) by penalty before he went to the ground without an opponent and had to be replaced.

“We paid a very high price”

Flick had already excited himself about the date of the game. “It was not the right appointment for this game, it was not good after the international break,” said the 60-year-old: “We have three more points, but we paid a very high price due to Dani’s injury.”

The game, originally scheduled for March 8, was canceled after the death of the Barca Klukluktorzt Carles MiƱarro Garcia and was postponed to March 27th. Since some professionals “did not have enough time to rest” after their international trip, Barcelona objected to the setting, but this was rejected.

For offensive players Raphinha were only 42 hours between the end of his international match with Brazil against Argentina (1: 4) and the kick -off in Barcelona. He and Ronald Araujo (Uruguay) were completely missing, Robert Lewandowski only took a seat on the bench.
