Injuries continue to shape Zion Williamson’s NBA career. The basketball star will no longer be used for the New Orleans Pelicans in the current season, the team announced on Monday. Williamson (24), 2019 in the NBA draft the first pick, had only twice more than 60 missions in his five NBA play times so far.
In his debut season, the two -time all -star had only come to 24 missions after a knee surgery, in 2020/21 it was 61, 22/23 then 29. 23/24 so far (70), this time it is over after 30 games.
The Power Forward, which had an average of 24.6 points in the current season, plagues back on the parquet on March 19 after a fall.
The season is also over for CJ McCollum due to a bone bruise in the foot. New Orleans is the penultimate in the West from the play-off race.
