The Portuguese once again ensures a scandal.
Start coach Jose Mourinho from Fenerbahce Istanbul has ensured a new scandal. Following the heated derby in the quarter-finals of the Turkish football cup against Galatasaray (1: 2), the Portuguese grabbed his counterpart Okan Buruk on his nose, as a result the coach of the home team immediately fell on the lawn.
It was the negative highlight of an once again emotionally charged duel between the two teams. Before the incident between the two coaches, the respective substitutes had already created each other, in added time with the former German international Kerem Demirbay and Baris Yilmaz from Galatasaray as well as Mert Yandes and assistant coach Salvatore Foti from Fenerbahce received the red card.
It was only in February Mourinho from the Turkish Football Association (TFF) was closed to four games after Galatasaray had raised allegations of racism to the Portuguese after the 0-0 in the league at Fenerbahce.
