NBA: Schröder’s pistons beat possible play-off opponents

Against the New York Knicks, a home win with a signal effect is achieved after difficult days.

Basketball professional Dennis Schröder and the Detroit Pistons have overcome their weak phase in the NBA – and thus also sent an important signal shortly before the play -offs. The pistons prevailed on Thursday evening with 115: 106 against the New York Knicks, previously there had been four defeats from the past five games.

Schröder got a lot of time from the bank with a good 27 minutes, remained quite unobtrusive with only eight points and an assist – but with three points in the final minute he secured the victory. The outstanding player of the evening was Schröder’s teammate Cade Cunningham with 36 points.

It was also a special victory because the Knicks could be the first play-off opponent of the pistons. New York took third place in the Eastern Conference, Detroit is sixth and also qualified. If it stays with this stand, both teams meet in the first best-of-Seven series of the master round. The main round for the pistons ends with a home and an away game against the Milwaukee Bucks this weekend.
