The International Sports Court blocked the Ratiopharm Ulm professional for one year from January 2024 to January 2025.

Basketball professional Karim Jallow from the Bundesliga club Ratiopharm Ulm has been retroacted by the International Sports Court CAS due to a violation of reporting obligations for one year from January 2024 to January 2025. As the National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) announced on Tuesday, the CAS had lifted the acquittal of the German Sports Arbitration Court from December 2023.

All personal results from the period of the lock are revoked Jallow, team results are not affected. According to NADA, the CAS justifies the preliminary laying of the lock “with the long procedure, especially in the first instance procedure before the German Sports Arbitration Court.”

In January 2023, the NADA had submitted an arbitration for a possible violation of anti-doping regulations at the German Sports Arbitration Court. The NADA has three reporting and control failures from the 2020/2021 season within twelve months. After the court dismissed the lawsuit, the NADA had appealed to the CAS in January 2024.

Jallow belonged to the RTP category (registered test pool) and therefore had to specify in advance in advance, where he can be found an hour for a test a day. Jallow has now logged out from this pool.
