It was only in January that Dominik Greiglich earned his PDC tour card at the Q-School-now the 23-year-old caused a fist thick surprise: at the Players Championship 14, he only had to surrender in the final.
The final against the experienced Jonny Clayton galanically lost 2: 8, but for Bavaria the tournament was still a huge success. Finally he started the number 120 of the Order of Merit.
Dominik Greundlich won a tour card in January

On his way to the final, some well-known darts professionals prevailed. He defeated Daryl Gurney (6: 2), Dirk van Duijvenbode (6: 5) and even ex-world champion Michael Smith (7: 4).
At the Players Championship 12 on April 9th, the third round had been drunk for the first time. On Monday he repeated this with Players Championship 13.

Darts: Pietreczko beats Price
The other Germans also performed well on Tuesday. Ricardo Pietreczko cleared out in the round of 16 Gerwyn Price (6: 5). In the subsequent quarter -finals, however, Michael Smith proved to be too strong at 2: 6.
For Martin Schindler, it was over in the round of 16. The German number one already led 5-2 against James Wade, but in the end lost unhappily with 5: 6.
