Ingrid Landmark Teldrevold has had a difficult biathlon season. Now the Norwegian criticizes the media handling of her person.
The Norwegian biathlete Ingrid Landmark Teldrevold criticized the media reporting on her person after a turbulent season.
“I don’t have the feeling that they consider me a fellow human beings, but rather think of clickbait that they can generate,” complained the 28-year-old in the podcast “Big 5 Med Nils OG Harald”.
Ingrid Landmark Tangrevold did not experience an easy winter
A scene from last winter in particular was remembered by Tandrevold: After a disappointing race, her mother had “overcome three barriers” to hug her.
“And the media say: ‘Give us an interview about how terrible it is to be Ingrid’s mother’. I would like to boycott it,” said Teldrevold.
Media boycott? “I don’t dare”
Ultimately, however, there was no media boycott from Tandrevold. “I don’t dare. I just try to give boring answers. But I can’t do that either, I’m a lousy actress,” said the Norwegian.
In the meantime, they are trying to no longer be themselves in interviews. “I can’t stand it anymore,” emphasized Tangrevold.
But she hardly succeeds. “It is obvious that it doesn’t work, but I try to answer politically correct and boring,” the biathlete continued.
Hard season for Tandrevold
In the past season, the focus was on Tankrevold several times. Among other things, she had to undergo heart surgery and therefore missed a large part of the competitions.
Although she won the Norwegian ladies relay silver at the biathlon World Cup, but often not much for the 28-year-old.
