Trainer back after pneumonia
Newcastle United most recently had to do without a chief coach. That changes again.
After his pneumonia, team manager Eddie Howe has started work again with the English first division club Newcastle United. This was announced on Thursday after the 47-year-old missed three league games because of the illness.
Howe was taken to the hospital about two weeks ago and then had to pause.
During his absence, Newcastle, under the direction of assistant Jason Tindall, scored six out of nine possible points, so the Magpies were fifth on course Champions League.
His comeback on the sidelines will be available on Saturday (4 p.m.) against Ipswich Town, which could then relegate prematurely.
