Theis very close to the semi -finals
Theis and Co. are only missing a victory for the final four.
The German basketball world champion Daniel Theis and his AS Monaco have come a lot closer to the semi-finals in the Euroleague. Monaco beat the Spanish top club FC Barcelona in the second quarter-final game 92:79 (49:40) and now leads 2-0 in the best-of-five series. The third game that may already be decisive will take place in Catalonia on Wednesday (7:00 p.m./Magenta Sport).
Theis, in the first quarter-finals with 22 points of the best throwers and significantly involved in the 97:80 victory of the Monegassen, this time came to four points and two rebounds. In the second meeting, others played great: Forward Alpha Diallo contributed 15 in the first quarter of a total of 26 points for Monaco alone in the Salle Gaston Médecin.
