Neureuther wants to show the beauty of nature
Neureuther with his foundation has been committed to environmental protection for years and has already drawn attention to the changes in the habitat in the Alps in its own BR documentation. Above all, he wanted to address top sport.
In his new role, he now wants to go to individuals. For him it is important to introduce people to nature emotionally. “To show them the beauty of nature so that they leave them as they found them,” said the 41-year-old.
The goal of Neureuther and the UN
Neureuther also interprets his new task greater, because he wants to influence countries “in which there is a major garbage problem to clean the mountains”. He sees the necessary power at the UN.
The common goal is simply formulated. “It is extremely important that the next generation can still enjoy nature as much as we do. We have to do something for that,” said Neureuther.
