Leroy Sané continues to cause a stir at FC Bayern with his contract poker, but at his former club Manchester City, the 29-year-old was surprisingly cheered loudly on Tuesday evening.

When Sané appeared on the giant screens, loud cheers erupted in the Etihad Stadium.
Coach Pep Guardiola, with whom Sané worked for four years, also smiled and applauded when he saw the Bayern star.
“You are an outstanding player. But much more importantly, you are a great person with a great family. It was an honor to share the field with you. I wish you and your family all the best,” said Sané.
The fans were hardly as loud for any other player shown as they were for the offensive player.
Sané Disappears A Little at Bayern’s Championship Celebration
At Bayern’s championship party on Sunday, Sané disappeared a little. He hid in the last row while his teammates celebrated exuberantly on the town hall balcony.
Sané obviously still enjoys great appreciation at City. From 2016 to 2020, the German international laced up his boots for the Citizens together with De Bruyne. In 135 games, Sané, as a young player, scored 39 goals and provided 44 assists.
Sané won seven titles with Manchester City, including two championships.
