Darts: Hopp misses a big surprise

Max Hopp missed the surprise and clearly lost his round of sixteen match at the Dutch Darts Championship against Jonny Clayton with 2:6 in legs.

After being down 0:2 in Rosmalen, the expert had even equalized. In the end, the world number six was simply a size too big.

The Ferret dominated the afternoon session match with 46 percent (6/13) doubles rate, the Maximiser only hit two of his seven attempts (29 percent).

In addition, the Welshman had a 100 three-dart average – Hopp averaged only 92 per shot.

Strong Schindler Deserves to Advance

Martin Schindler was also present in the afternoon session of the European Tour tournament, winning 6:4 against Martin Lukeman, throwing a strong 103 average and hitting 50 percent of his throws on doubles.
