„Ich glaube, er wird in etwa fünf Jahren aufhören“, sagte Aspinall bei talkSPORT über den 17-Jährigen und fügte folgende Begründung hinzu: „Er hat es jetzt schon satt, ständig zu spielen und zu reisen, und das macht er erst seit 12 Monaten. Ich glaube nicht, dass er noch 16 Jahre dabei sein wird, geschweige denn 16 Weltmeistertitel gewinnen wird. Wenn er es schafft, Hut ab vor ihm. Aber ich kann mir das nicht vorstellen.“

In addition to the Darts World Championship at the beginning of the year, Luke Littler was able to win more tournaments. But how long will this continue? His competitor Nathan Aspinall does not believe that “The Nuke” will still be active for over 30 or even 40 years.
“I think he’ll quit in about five years,” Aspinall told talkSPORT about the 17-year-old, adding the following reason: “He’s already fed up with constantly playing and traveling, and he’s only been doing it for 12 months. I don’t think he’ll be around for another 16 years, let alone win 16 world titles. If he does, hats off to him. But I can’t imagine that.”
