Jadon Sancho apparently has no future at FC Chelsea – which is why they even have to pay an expensive “penalty”.
Jadon Sancho’s future apparently does not lie with FC Chelsea. The former Bundesliga star and the Blues could not agree on a contract, writes The Athletic.
Sancho is on loan from Manchester United to Chelsea until June 30 and will now return despite a mandatory purchase option of almost 30 million euros.

Because: As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano writes, among others, the club from London can avoid the transfer by paying a “penalty payment” of almost six million euros to United. This is now supposed to happen.
Sancho apparently doesn’t want to stay at United either
Sancho, who once had his major breakthrough at BVB, played 41 games for Chelsea, scoring five goals and providing ten assists. Although he repeatedly showed his talent – he scored, among other things, in the final of the Conference League – he apparently did not make himself indispensable.
The 25-year-old is still under contract with United until 2026. Whether he has a future with the struggling top club is open.
Before his temporary departure to the Blues, he had a falling out with then-coach Erik ten Hag. Even though he had returned to the squad in pre-season after a temporary suspension, staying in Manchester is at least questionable.
According to Romano, Sancho is ready for another move in the summer.
