The dream of the first German title at the World Cup of Darts has burst! Martin Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko were defeated in the semi-finals of the team World Championship in Frankfurt Northern Ireland with 1:8 in legs.
The German duo didn’t get into the game at all and were clearly inferior in scoring to Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney, who were seeded number four.

After an 8:7 in the quarter-finals against Australia, the only third German semi-final entry in the history of the PDC competition had been confirmed.
In the second semi-final, Wales and the Netherlands meet and determine Northern Ireland’s final opponent. The final will take place on Sunday evening.
