But on the way to success, the 25-year-old had had problems with problems since childhood.

Halvarsson: “I handed over before competitions”

“I’ve been getting very nervous, since my childhood. I even vomited before competitions, it was not so beneficial,” said Halvarsson and said: “To overcome it and learn to deal with nervousness, was a big challenge.”

In the meantime, however, she has overcome this problem. “As a teenager, I just decided that it didn’t work and that it has to stop now. There were still a few highs and lows, but then it got better,” revealed the Swede.

Perfection? “Then more errors happen”

Instead of focusing on negative thoughts, Halvarsson wants to continue working. “I know what I have to work on, and then I do that. I try to tick off bad shooting quickly. If you aim too much on perfection, you hang up on every mistake, and then more errors happen,” reported the junior world champion of the season.

Halvarsson also relies on a special morning routine. “Two slices of bread with butter and ham and a bowl of yogurt with muesli. If there is no ham, I only eat bread with butter, which is very bland with black coffee,” said Halvarsson her breakfast routine.
