The English international celebrated great success at his heart club alongside Jürgen Klopp.
The English national football player Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave the new English champion FC Liverpool after 21 years. The Reds announced on Monday that the veteran would not extend its contract that expires in June. The 26-year-old has been associated with a change to the Spanish record champion Real Madrid for some time.
“I’ve been here for 20 years now, have loved every single minute, realized all my dreams, have achieved everything I ever wanted to achieve,” he said in an emotional farewell message: “Even if I go as a player, I will always be a Liverpool fan.”
Alexander-Arnold came to Liverpool’s offspring in 2004 and went through all youth teams until he signed his first professional contract in 2016. Under the German coach Jürgen Klopp, he won the Champions League in 2019 and the English championship in 2020. As a farewell, he won the title in the league with his heart club this year. So far, he played 351 games for the LFC.
