After Coup against Bavaria: Ulm beats in Würzburg

A week after the exclamation mark against the league leader, pursuer Ulm weakens again – again.

After the exclamation mark in their own hall against Bayern Munich, Ratiopharm Ulm’s basketball players once again received a setback.

At the Würzburg Baskets, the team of coach Ty Harrelson lost 72:89 (31:44) on Monday evening and made an unexpected mistake a week after the success against the leaders from Munich (109: 94) in the fight for the top of the Bundesliga.

Third away bankruptcy in a row

While the Ulm recently convinced with over 100 points in their offensive spectacles against Munich, Chemnitz and Frankfurt, it was the third away bankruptcy in Würzburg for the champions from 2023.

Jhivvan Jackson convinced with the hosts with 17 points, Karim Jallow came to twelve points as the best thrower of the disappointing Ulm.

Ulm still remains the first pursuer of Bavaria. Würzburg, on the other hand, celebrated an important success in the fight for direct playoff qualification.
