Filling jug transfer finally done
The national player wants to seize his World Cup opportunity.

Niclas Füllkrug moves to Milan
National player Niclas Füllkrug is transferring to the traditional club AC Milan. The 19-time Italian champion is initially loaning the 32-year-old goalscorer until the end of the season from English first-division club West Ham United. This was announced by Serie A on Friday, even before the clubs.
Milan also reportedly secured a purchase option. Whether Füllkrug will already be in the squad for the evening match against Cagliari Calcio was initially still open. In recent days, he had already trained with his new employer.
Füllkrug Wants to Recommend Himself for a World Cup Ticket
Füllkrug had recently seen little action in the Premier League, and he had also repeatedly struggled with injuries. The striker had moved to the island from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2024 for 27 million euros. For the “Hammers,” Füllkrug has scored only three goals in 29 competitive matches.
With good performances in Milan, Füllkrug also wants to secure his World Cup ticket. National coach Julian Nagelsmann had recently called for “more playing practice” for the fan favorite.
