In all likelihood, Carlo Ancelotti Real Madrid will no longer train at the club World Cup. Now a potential successor candidate is expressed.
It is one of the peculiarities of this season that they are not over when the top leagues in Europe have already ended their seasons.
As is well known, the club World Cup is played in June and July – and thus across the actual seasonal limit – which could also have an impact on Real Madrid’s trainer post.
Raúl has been training the Real young team since 2019
The idea is not absurd that Carlo Ancelotti will no longer sit in the USA and Xabi Alonso will not yet sit on the “royal” bench.
In this case, Raúl would offer himself as an interim solution. The Madrilenen storm legend has been a Castilla coach, the second team from Real, has also had higher ambitions.
Raúl: “I’m where I want to be”
When asked about the possibility of replacing Ancelotti at least temporarily as a coach of the professionals, the 47-year-old now remained nebulous.
“I am happy to be here. I am where I want to be,” he said after his team’s 0-1 defeat in the third division game against Ceuta on Sunday and added: “If the time has come for an assessment, we will see.”
Should he be able to rise within the club in summer – if only for a short time -, he should be difficult to refuse the offer.
According to information from the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Raúl is not the only candidate for the job as an interim coach. The former real professional Santiago Solari could also inherit Ancelotti. The Argentinian had already trained with Julen Lopetegui in 2018 after the fiasco and at that time won the club World Cup.
