A fan of the Italian first division club Atalanta Bergamo was stabbed in a dispute with a fan by Inter Milan. The incident occurred in Bergamo on Sunday night.
The dispute broke out in a bar in the city center, the 19-year-old subsequently stabbed the 26-year-old with a knife.
The perpetrator stood up to the police and claimed that he had been attacked and tried to defend his brother. The murder weapon was secured.
Witnesses reported that before the death of the 26-year-old rival fan groups with sticks and iron bars had started. The arrested person was admitted to the Bergamo prison.
