Luis Díaz led the Colombian national team to a 4-0 victory in the friendly against Mexico. The FC Bayern star scored in the 56th minute to make it 2-0 for the Cafeteros.

Jhon Lucumi (16th) had put Colombia in the lead at the AT&T Stadium near Dallas before, after the break, besides Díaz, Jefferson Lerma (64th) and Johan Carbonero (87th) eventually increased the score.

James sets up two goals

Both Díaz’s goal and the South Americans’ 1-0 were set up by former Bayern star James Rodríguez.

Colombia has comfortably qualified for the World Cup next year in the USA, Mexico, and Canada as third in the South America qualification.
