“The experiences will help me enormously”

JeanMonnot and her competitor Franziska Preuss drove into a curve next to each other at the final start of the mass in Oslo shortly before the finish. The French stumbled over her own stick and fell into the snow. Prussia secured the overall World Cup for the first time in her career.

The scenes are remembered immediately after the finish. Preuss had approached Jean Monnot directly, both of them had shed tears.

JeanMonnot of the Germans did not blame for the bitter mishap right from the start.
