“I would like to create and work structures again,” says the former Hertha manager.
The former European football master Fredi Bobic is about to return to professional football. The former sports director of VfB Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt and Hertha BSC confirmed “positive conversations” with the Polish record champion Legia Warsaw. “We talked about getting together, but the topic is not yet through. But I have a very good feeling,” said the 53-year-old at Sky.
Bobic had last worked as a sports manager at Hertha until January 2023, and a legal dispute between both sides had subsequently developed around the termination.
Now everything indicates a new commitment. “Abroad simply excites me. Legia has brutal fan power and an incredible infrastructure. I would like to create and work structures again. I would like to start as soon as possible if an agreement is reached,” said Bobic.
