Barca and Real have a crazy first half. In both sides, gates fall without end. The Catalans also set a record against the Madrilenes.
FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have delivered an insane first half in Clásico in Spanish – with goals on both sides.
Less than four minutes were played when referee Alejandro Hernández Hernández first pointed to the point for the royal. A foul by Barca keeper Wojciech Szczesny was preceded by Kylian Mbappé.
The fouled started himself – and converted safely into the lower left corner.
Barca now overwhelms
Real stayed on and increased a little later to 2-0 – again through Mbappé, who overcame Szczesny from a short distance.
Anyone who thought that the Madrilenes would keep the game control would be quickly deceived.
Because the opposite occurred: Barca took over the booklet of action, overwhelmed with numerous attacks – and played the royal defense dizzy.
Barca sets up a record
First of all, Eric García and Lamine Yamal equalized. Then Raphinha put the Catalans in the lead with a double pack.
Through the four goals against Real, Barca also set a new record. A team has never scored so many goals against the Madrilenes within a season.
With a total of 16 goals in four games, Barca exceeded his own record from the 2011/12 season – at that time it was 13 goals.
In the 1929/30 season, Espanyol Barcelona also scored 13 goals against Real.
In the second half, Mbappé shortened to 3: 4 and laced a hat trick.
