The comeback by Marc-André Ter Stegen at FC Barcelona is getting closer. Trainer Hansi Flick wants to wait for the right time.
His comeback at FC Barcelona is imminent: Marc-André Ter Stegen is almost fit after his patella tendon tear, which he suffered in September.
“He is ready. I’ll talk to him. We will decide when the best time is to reappear,” said coach Hansi Flick at the press conference before the game against RCD Mallorca on Tuesday.

Originally, it was even said that the season for Ter Stegen would have run, but the keeper returned to the training ground in early April. “I hope that I can still play a few season games. That is my goal to come back great,” he emphasized before his Catalan’s 4-0 victory in the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League against BVB.
Also DFB-Elf again topic
If the Stegen actually still plays a few games in the Barca jersey this season, the Final Four in the Nations League (June 4th to June 8th) is another topic with the DFB team.
“It is now important that I play some games for the club and then we will see how the situation is towards the summer. I would be happy if I am involved in the National League games, but now it is important that I come back,” said Ter Steg.
Most recently, Ter Stegen was represented in the national team of Hoffenheim’s goalkeeper Oliver Baumann. At Barca, Wojciech Szczesny was brought back from his retirement during the absence of the captain.
