The German Mixed Doppel received the third defeat in the third game at the curling World Cup in Canada. Pia-Lisa Schöll and Joshua Sutor were subject to 6:12 in Fredericton Finland on Sunday in Fredericton Finland. The German duo had previously lost to host Canada and Olympic champion Italy.

At the World Cup, 20 nations fight in two groups to move into the final round. In Group A, Germany still meets Sweden, South Korea, Scotland, Denmark, China and the Netherlands. The top three teams of each group reach the co-phase, with the group winners entering the semi-finals directly. The seven best nations secure a starting place for the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina 2026.

For Germany, it continues against China (3 p.m. CEST) and Denmark (11 p.m. CEST) on Monday.
