Martin Schindler has won the German duel at the Baltic Sea Darts Open. “The Wall” prevailed 6-4 against Niko Springer.
The two German darts professionals delivered a close match, especially at the beginning, in the tournament of the PDC European Tour (live on SPORT1 today).

Both opponents initially won their legs on their own throw until Schindler achieved the first break at a score of 2-2. The world number 18 secured the lead with a Shanghai finish (120 points).

But Springer immediately countered and returned with the re-break. Schindler was not deterred and set the next exclamation point with a high finish (124) to 4-3.
But Springer’s resistance was not broken even after another leg loss. He checked 88 and stayed in the game. On his own throw, Schindler ultimately closed the lid, the first match dart immediately found its target.
Schindler achieved a 3-dart average of 96.06 points and a checkout rate of 50 percent. His opponent was at 88.36 and 40 percent.
