Next title for Luke Littler: The world champion also triumphs at the World Masters. He is only one title away from a big goal.
What a triumph for Luke Littler at the PDC World Masters! The world champion secured his next major title with a 6:5 victory in the final against Luke Humphries.
At the same time, Littler also kept his big goal for the 2026 darts year alive. “The Nuke” has set out to win every major tournament he hasn’t been able to win yet.

The World Masters was also on this list. Now the darts dominator only needs the title at the European Darts Championships.
In the final, Humphries even played a better average (105.51 to 104.72 points) and also a better double percentage (46.4% to 37.2%) than Littler. But in the decisive moments, it was the world champion who kept a cooler head.
World Masters: Littler Fights Back Multiple Times
Littler’s path to triumph at the World Masters was quite stony. In two matches, he had to survive a match dart against him. First in the match against Mike De Decker and then in the semi-final, when Gerwyn Price missed a dart at double-20.
And in the final, it long looked as if Humphries could defend his title. At a score of 5:4, the Englishman only needed one more set to win.
But then Littler turned it on again, won four legs in a row and dethroned “Cool Hand Luke” at the World Masters as well.
