Nathan Aspinall won the European Darts Trophy in Göttingen. In the final, the Englishman confidently beat his compatriot Ryan Joyce with 8: 4 in Legs and thus secured the £ 30,000 prize money and his first title on the European Tour.
“The ASP” convinced in the final on Sunday evening with a three-dart average of 98.2 points. Joyce, who had thrown out the tournament in the semi -finals Michael van Gerwen, threw only 93.7 points on average. Aspinall (32 percent) was also ahead of his opponent (28.6 percent) in the double quota.
Aspinall had previously defeated Gary Anderson (7: 6) and even provided enthusiasm in the Göttingen Lokhalle with a sensational big-fish finish. In the quarter -finals he also handled Luke Humphries (6: 1).
