Littler was about to go out – then the 9 -darter followed
Previously, Littler’s record was an average of 116.51 points, which he had played at the Czech Darts Open 2024. The opponent even then: Heta of all people.
The 18-year-old did not even need more than 13 darts for his leg wins and ended two legs with eleven or twelve darts. An outstanding performance of the Englishman, who had recently triumphed with the Belgian Darts Open.
But it almost didn’t get that far for Littler, even when he kicked off Niko Springer, he was about to end. But then Littler turned up completely, even threw a 9-darter a round later and thus spectacularly reached the semi-finals.
Joe Cullen secured the tournament victory. The Englishman survived in the final against Van Veen Matchdarts and kept his nerves in the 8: 7 victory.
