Darts: Schindler fails due to local hero

Martin Schindler has to say goodbye to the round of 16

Germany’s number 1 Martin Schindler must be beaten in the round of 16 of the Belgian Darts Open.

The next Belgian was one too much for Martin Schindler. Germany’s number 1 failed in the round of 16 at the Belgian Darts Open at the local hero Mike de Decker with 3: 6 in the legs.

Schindler fails on de Decker

Against de Decker, Schindler ran behind almost the entire duration of the game.

After a balanced start, Decker only pulled 4: 2 and later 5: 3 before he finished the match in the ninth leg with a throw on the double 8.

Schindler achieved the only high finish of the game with a 126, but was left behind in scoring against de Decker (98.4 to 102.81).

With this, the Belgian always got opportunities for checkout.

The quarter -finalists are also world champion Luke Littler, who hit Luke Woodhouse 6: 4 in the round of 16.
