Darts: How the World Grand Prix works
In the round of 16 and quarter-finals, the mode “Best of 5 sets” is played. In the semi-finals “Best of 9 sets” applies, before up to eleven sets can be played in the final.
The special feature of the World Grand Prix is that, according to the “Double-In/Double Out” mode, players not only have to end each leg with a double, but also have to start with a double. Only after a double at the beginning do the scores count.
