Former Schalke Weston McKennie was apparently racially insulted against Parma Calcio (2-0) during Juventus’ home game. The Turiner filed a complaint on Monday for the incident.

McKennie had warmed up with the other reservists in the course of the second half and had become “the goal of racially motivated discriminatory statements by some people in the guest sector”, the association said about the social network X.

Juventus reports in statement

“Juventus is condemned by this incident and any form of racism,” says the statement. The association will work closely together with the sports justice authorities to determine the perpetrator.
