The two Germans failed in the quarter -finals.

The dreams of Bernd Leno and Fabian Hürzeler from the final of the FA Cup in Wembley have burst. Goalkeeper Leno lost 0: 3 (0: 2) against the Ligarivals Crystal Palace on Saturday in the quarter-finals with Premier League club FC Fulham. Team manager Hürzeler lost 3: 4 in a penalty shootout in another first division duel from Nottingham Forest in another first division duel.

The English international Eberechi Eze (34th), Ismaila Sarr (38.) and Eddie Nketiah (75th) met Leno. The team of former Bundesliga trainer Oliver Glasner celebrated the sixth competitive victory in a row. Just four weeks after the bad kick, Jean-Philippe Mateta kicked his comeback in the Crystal Palace jersey. The former Bundesliga professional, who was brutally fouled by the opposing goalkeeper Liam Roberts in the round of 16 against the second division club FC Millwall (3-1), was in the starting line-up and was replaced in the 70th minute for Nketiah.

In Brighton, the third in the table from Nottingham in the thriller kept the upper hand against the seventh. There had been no goals before.
